Terrace
Terrace Pro

For the whole project, to the last sheet.

Terrace is free to download and use: survey, surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, earthwork, grading, drainage, parcels, sheets and reports. Terrace Pro adds what a design office needs next — the estimate and the plan set, junctions, hydraulics, water networks, survey and point cloud tools, and IFC — with your firm's name on every report.

Buy Terrace Pro

Tell us who it's for and how you'd like to pay; we'll reply by email.

Every Pro part is checked against published worked examples or the standard tools — EPANET 2.2, PROJ, IfcOpenShell, FHWA HDS-5 and the FHWA roundabout guide, Chow, NEH-630, the AASHTO Green Book tables and the DPWH department orders. The guide says how each one is checked, and what it doesn't do yet.

How buying works

  1. Fill in the form behind the Buy button: who the license is for (a person or a firm), and how you'd like to pay — PayPal, GCash or bank transfer.
  2. Pay the request we email you.
  3. Get your license key by email, usually the same day.
  4. In Terrace, choose Help › Terrace Pro…, paste the key and click Activate. Pro is on at once. Activating needs the internet, but no account.

Questions

Who can use a license?

A license works on one computer. A firm with several engineers buys one for each computer; email us for five or more. To move a license to a new computer, remove it from the old one in Terrace first (Help › Terrace Pro… › Remove License from This Computer), or email us if the old one is gone.

Do my Slope Pro or Flume Pro keys work in Terrace?

No. Each app has its own license: a Slope or Flume key doesn't turn on Terrace Pro, and a Terrace key doesn't turn on theirs.

What happens after a year?

We'll email you before it ends. Renewing gives you a new key for another year. If you don't renew, Terrace keeps working as Terrace Free, and your projects still open — including what Pro made in them.

Does Terrace Pro send anything over the internet?

Only to check the license: when you activate it, and about once a month after, Terrace sends the license key and an anonymous id of the computer (a scrambled form of its hardware id) to our license service, which makes sure the key is in use on one computer only. Nothing about your projects is sent. See Privacy.

Which computers?

Terrace runs on a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 11 or later, and on 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. Terrace Pro needs Terrace 0.2.0 or later. A license is for one computer, Mac or Windows.
